Pennsylvania late fee calculator: is your rent late fee legal?
What the law says in Pennsylvania: No provision on residential rent late fees (no cap, no required grace period, no required notice) was found in Pennsylvania's Landlord and Tenant Act of 1951 (68 P.S. 250.101 et seq., all articles read), so any late fee depends on the lease. Local ordinances (e.g. Philadelphia, Pittsburgh) and other Pennsylvania statutes were not searched.
